The NBA playoffs are coming down to the end as the Western and Eastern conference finals have started and there is one more round to go. The teams that are still in it are the *Cleveland Cavaliers(1) vs Toronto Raptors(2) and Golden State Warriors(1) vs Oklahoma City Thunder(3).

These series are well anticipated as whoever wins, goes to the NBA finals and a chance to be the NBA champions of the 2015-2016 season. With the Warriors coming off the best season ever seen in basketball with a record of 73-9 they are a favorite to reach the NBA finals, along with the Cleveland Cavaliers who has had an incredible playoff run so far.

Ismaila Camara, a senior at MBHS has this to say about the playoffs so far, “ I think the playoffs have been very exciting this year, but I don’t think anyone can beat the Cavs or Warriors, they are probably going to play each other in the Finals.” According to Sports Illustrated the Warriors have the best odds to win the NBA championship.

If the Warriors win, this would be there 2nd year in a row. Being the first team to repeat since the 2013 Miami Heat that featured LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.
LeBron James is trying to win his third NBA title, while the Most Valuable Player, Stephen Curry is trying to win his second.
The NBA finals begin on Thursday, June 2.
