Restaurant Review: Sticky’s Finger Joint

Samori Covington, Staff Reporter

Sticky’s Finger Joint located on W 8th st. in the village between 5th and 6th ave. right off the B and F line is also known as “The Best Damn Chicken Finger in NYC.” Sticky’s offers savory sauces, crispy fries, and above chicken tenders fried to perfection. Now, it is definitely possible to break the bank at this restaurant because its items are pricier than most. Three chicken tenders and regular fries cost about $15.

“If you love chicken comfort food you have to give this place a try” says a reviewer in their Yelp review. It may seem like a lot “but the food is so good that in the end you have to decipher whether or not you’re in a food coma,” says MBHS senior Juan Martinez.

The feel of the restaurant is peaceful and relaxing. Smooth R&B and old school rap music plays in the background, helping greasy artery clogging food go down with ease. “Sticky’s has a lively atmosphere with good music, interesting people, and delicious but filling fried chicken,” says MBHS senior Mira Kraus. Sticky’s Finger Joint also offers a variety different foods on their menu, this includes onion rings, salad, and poppers. For further information on menus and other locations check out stickys.com
