As the second semester begins, new Millennium Brooklyn clubs are starting to emerge, and, among them, is the resurfacing Art club.

Art club is back after a semester of absence and hopes to gain more notoriety among students. Some students, who are regular “art clubbers,” are excited and ready to just get back to drawing after school.

“I’m so ready for another one – another art club. Last year was great! It was a great place to just draw, talk with friends, and become a better artist,” said Kieran Ledlon, MBHS senior. Like Ledlon, there have been many students who are excited to be apart of art club again. One junior, who wished to remain nameless said, “It’s great that art club is back from it’s one semester leave, and I just can’t wait to start drawing again.”
Ms. Davidson, the club manager said, “the art club is for students who want more time to develop their artistic skill and styles. Any juniors who are interested in pursuing creative careers should definitely join so they can get a head start on their portfolios, in light of the fact that there are no arts electives offered to juniors. The club will be divided into two groups, one devoted to […] more advanced drawing and painting skills [and][…] the other[…] in abstract artworks. You are welcome to come and use provided art supplies to explore any style or technique of your choice!”
