Students at MBHS have recently begun to receive acceptance letters to colleges after having submitted applications during 2015.

Many college notification dates are in March or April, and already nearly 100 seniors within Millennium Brooklyn have been accepted. A number of colleges have started accepting MBHS seniors. According to the school’s college counselor, Ms. Gibbons, “98 students have been accepted to 1 or more colleges so far.” She says that “the seniors have been working hard throughout the college process.”

The students at MBHS are very happy about their acceptances. One such student, Eric Franco, said, “I worked really hard to get to where I am now…overall. I’m really happy about the colleges I’ve been accepted to.” Franco is not the only student to have been accepted to multiple colleges.

Within the halls, there is a large bulletin board with star cards on it. The stars show what colleges have accepted which students. Many stars have more than one college listed on them, with some students having been accepted to Stonybrook, St. Johnson, and Pace University.
