As the flowers start to blossom and more rainy days approach, so does Bobo’s Smoothie, a new spot located right across from Millennium Brooklyn High School that serves all sorts of homemade smoothies and bubble teas.

In the beginning of March, Bobo’s Smoothie Store opened up to the public. According to Bizapedia.com, there have not been any reviews yet by customers since this smoothie place opened. Bobo’s Smoothie sells both homemade smoothies and bubble teas. The smoothies come in medium and large. A medium costs $4 and a large costs $5. They range in all different flavors, and you even have the chance to create your own smoothie made from fresh fruits and vegetables.

Students at MBHS have been going in and out of Bobo’s Smoothie. Some students at MBHS stated their opinion on Bobo’s Smoothie and they thought that it was beneficial that there is now a spot where they can get affordable, healthy smoothies. But, are the smoothies really tasty is the question.

A senior at MBHS, Ronece Pringle says, “I realize that the smoothie place doesn’t have a specific amount of ingredients to put into the smoothie.” She thinks that they need to have a set recipe for each smoothie that they offer, so it tastes the same every time. Ronece concludes that she will not be going back.

Another student at MBHS, Wineldy Checo says, “the smoothies are really good and I am able to make healthier choices for lunch with the ‘Monster Kale’ smoothie, my favorite!”

There are many mixed reviews on Bobo’s smoothie so far, but is it going to become a popular spot for students this upcoming spring/summer season?
