Now that Millennium Brooklyn High School is finally a four year school, there’s a lot of buzz around its first yearbook. The yearbook staff is working hard pulling the final strings together. The yearbook staff is asking for more students to send in their photos. With a deadline in early March, everything must be completed.  Since the Class of 2015 is the first graduating class, they created a legacy that’ll last a lifetime. This inspired the title of the yearbook, which is called “Legacy.”

Josette Ferreira, senior at Millennium Brooklyn, states that she is “excited to see the yearbook” and “can’t wait to see everyone’s senior quotes.”

The yearbook staff consists of 20 juniors and seniors. They all devote their time outside of school, and come together after school on Fridays to work on the production of the yearbook. Keiame Lee Chong, a senior and Co-Editor-in-Chief of the MBHS yearbook said that “the work is tedious but it’s a lot of fun.” She believes it’ll all be “worth it in the end.” Her favorite part is being able to “piece together four years of this high school, especially because this is my first year here.”

Director of the Yearbook Club and US History teacher, Andrea Moverman explains that the hardest part when working on the yearbook is “collecting pictures and information from the seniors.” She later said, “the yearbook staff has been working tirelessly to put together a yearbook everyone could be proud of.”

After much thought and deliberation, the yearbook team has decided to give us a sneak peak of “Legacy.” Attached below are the selected pages from the yearbook staff.
