After four years of continuous change and growth, Millennium Brooklyn High School is finally graduating its first class. With many of the seniors busy with college applications and classes, it’s easy to forget about the senior activities that await in the second semester.

The location of the senior trip, as well as prom, has already been chosen by the seniors. They will be going to Honors Haven resort from May 15th until May 17th for their trip. The resort consists of a spa, indoor and outdoor pools as well as basketball courts, a movie room, and fitness center.

Senior Noah James said, “I don’t think it’s the location that’s as important as the people you spend it with” which is true, seniors are getting the choice of who they will bunk with. Another fellow senior, George Bermudez, agreed saying, “it’s not about the trip itself as it is the experience”.

The prom will take place on June 3rd at Penthouse 808 in Long Island City.

Prom tickets will cost $100 and any guests students may want to bring, so long as they are under 20, they must pay for separately. Each person can bring up to one guest from outside of school to prom.

For now, seniors are still working on the yearbook photos. Cap and gown measurements are on December 11th and the first payments for senior dues begin Monday the 15th as well.
