Upcoming Events at MBHS

Attention MBHS! November is quite a busy month for everyone. There is a series of events that will be taking place over the next few weeks, leading into December.

Benchmarks come first. This week and next week will be a week of testing. Starting from November 12th to the 20th, different classes will assign their own benchmarks. Overall, this is what that schedule looks like:

    • Humanities: 11/10 – 11/12
    • Research: 11/12 – 11/14
    • Foreign Language: 11/13 – 11/14, 11/17
    • Science: 11/17 – 11/19
    • Math: 11/19 – 11/21

Once benchmarks are over, first marking period report cards will be distributed the week of November 17th.

Picture day will be coming up for grades 9,10, and 11 so come make sure to come to  school Tuesday, November 18th prepared with your smiles. Picture day forms will soon be sent out to you from your advisors if you wish to have your photo taken. As you all know, different picture packages will result in different prices. It is not necessary to have your picture taken, so if you don’t want it taken, you don’t have to.

As for Seniors, they will be taking their class of 2015 group photo on November 20th in Prospect Park during periods 4-6. Seniors, make sure you aren’t out that day, you have to wear your senior shirt. Make sure you aren’t out that day. You don’t want to be excluded from the first class picture of MBHS.

Leading into the first week of December, Seniors will be measured for their Cap & Gown on Tuesday, December 2nd at 10am sharp. Friday, December 5th there will a Senior Ice Skating Event from 5pm-9pm at Prospect Park. If you’re a person who enjoys ice skating, make sure you don’t miss out on this event.
