Now that spring is just around the corner, the Millennium softball team is starting prepare for their season.

This season, the softball team will be competing in a different league after going undefeated last year in their previous league. Two senior softball players, Anita Tunduwani and Julie Terrone, took the time to speak about their upcoming season. .

When asked how she felt about the upcoming season, Julie Terrone was very confident in her team. She said she felt “Good…This is a competitive league that we are in. We are in good shape.”

So far, the softball team has one scrimmage game and according to Anita it was a success. She said, “it went well, but it was interesting to see how the rest of the season is gonna go.”

With the confidence these two softball players are showing, the Millennium Girls Softball Team looks destined for a great season. Go support the team for their first home game against the New Utrecht softball team on April 5th (4:00 PM) at Prospect Park.
