Millennium Brooklyn High School’s spirit week is coming up soon. Throughout the week of October 26-30, every day will have a different theme. Themes include Pajama Day, Sport Team Pride Day, Breast Cancer Awareness Day, and Advisory Halloween Costume Day.

Imani Clement, a senior in student government, expressed that she felt like this year’s Spirit Week will be better than those in the past because, “there’s a couple of different themes that we haven’t had before, so MBHS might like the new themes more than old ones.” Despite occasional challenges to agree on themes, each member in student government came to a consensus on very original ideas for this year’s fall spirit week.

Senior Kaya Fridman is excited for the upcoming spirit week so she can “get into the school spirit since it’s important for seniors to get involved in school activities.”

In addition to the many fun themes, at the end of the week on Friday afternoon those running for class presidents in all grades will give their speeches and debates to each of the grades. The 9th and 10th graders running will deliver their speeches on why they’re running for president while 11th and 12th graders will meet for a debate to answer questions.
